Genie Arnot Titus
Art teacher, Lower School
I am returning to Bryn Mawr and Baltimore after years of being away. I am astounded by the open arms and warm welcome I have received in this community of teachers and learners. Everyone is excited about what they are doing and willing to work together to enhance the educational experience for the students. I have taken advantage of the support Bryn Mawr provides for its faculty regarding professional development and attended a Maryland Art Educators Association Conference in Annapolis recently and learned how to use poetry to help students think critically about works of art. I look forward to incorporating these new ideas to my work with the second grade this spring.
