How is the season going so far?
- Ellie: The season is off to a pretty good start. We have a young and athletic team that has the potential to go a long way.
- Caroline: The season is going well, but we have lost 3 games.
- Kate: The season is going well, we have had some good wins.
What do you all do to prepare for tough games?
- Ellie: We like to listen to our warm up CD because it loosens us up and gets us really pumped up. We also set individual and team goals for the game.
- Caroline: We try to practice hard and focus on situations and styles of play specific to our upcoming opponents.
- Kate: For tough games, we prepare our goals I'm the practice before.
How do you recover from losses?
- Ellie: We typically go back and assess the games that we lose. We do this either by self reflection and figuring out ways to improve individual play, or by watching the game film as a team.
- Caroline: We identify what problems we faced and try to find solutions and keep our confidence.
- Kate: We just try and figure out what we did wrong and how as a team we can fix those mistakes for games after.
What are you doing to be ready for the rest of the season?
- Ellie: We are making sure to get better every single day.
- Caroline: We are doing a lot of conditioning and improving our all-around play as the season progresses.
- Kate: We are just trying to get better every day and accomplish all our goals.
