Summer Camp Information

Registration Opens on January 9, 2025 at 9 a.m.

Camps will run from June 16- August 1, 2025
Summer at Bryn Mawr offers a huge range of camps for every interest. Whether you love sports, arts & crafts, science, drama, dance (or all of the above!), we are the place for you. Enjoy long-running favorites like Creative Workshop, Sports & Crafts, and Kitchen Chemistry, or find a new interest in Paper Crafts, STEAM Dream, What’s Trending, or Popstar Dance! Before and after care provided FREE of charge! Lunch is included for all full-day campers!

Morning & Afternoon Extended Care

Morning Extended Care is available for those enrolled in a morning camp, and Afternoon Extended Care is available for those enrolled in an afternoon camp. Students enrolled in a full-day camp may participate in either or both.
 
  • Morning Extended Care begins at 8:00 a.m.
  • Afternoon Extended Care ends at 5:00 p.m.

Lunch Program

All campers enrolled in a morning and an afternoon program will receive lunch at no additional charge.  Campers will enjoy lunch and recess from 12:30-1:30pm (included in the cost of signing up for an AM and PM camp). 

Cancellation Policy

A student's withdrawal from a camp before April 1 will result in a $100 cancellation fee for each camp. Withdrawal of a camp after April 1, but at least one week prior to the beginning of the camp, will result in a $150 cancellation fee for each camp. Withdrawing from a camp less than one week prior to the beginning of camp will result in a forfeiture of all fees. Bryn Mawr reserves the right to waive the cancellation fee on a case-by-case basis in extenuating circumstances.

    Join us as we continue the 50+ year tradition of Creative Workshop, offering a wonderful mix of arts and crafts, sewing, drama, cooking, music and creative games. Your children’s imaginations will soar as they choose among various opportunities throughout the program. Each session includes a performer, Surprise Day, Clash Day, and a performance by the campers for families and friends (will be recorded and shared for years of memories!). Small groups of similar-aged campers foster enduring friendships and support new friendships forming from summer to summer.     Spanish Languages and Cultures
    Students will practice the Spanish language while learning about the cultures of the Spanish-speaking world. We will explore history, food, crafts, art, and so much more! We will "visit" a variety of Spanish-speaking countries during the week and learn about what makes them so special. Students will learn vocabulary related to our activities that will help them build their Spanish skills. Each day will feature a craft and/or cooking activity.

    PopStar Dance
    Campers will learn beginner hip-hop/ jazz style dances choreographed to the music of their favorite popstars! We’ll teach them the moves to dance on stage like Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, Carly Rae Jepsen, Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande, Austin Mahone, Adam Levine, Kelly Clarkson, Madison Beer and One Direction!     Safe Sitter® prepares students in grades 5-8 to be safe when they’re home alone, watching younger siblings, or babysitting.  Students learn life-saving skills such as how to rescue someone who’s choking, and helpful information like what to do if there’s severe weather.     Come explore the creative world of collage! We will start off  learning how to create abstract paintings that incorporate texture and patterns. Next we will cut up the  paintings to create a collage from your imagination. For inspiration for your collage we will look at various collage artists such as Eric Carle and Romare Bearden.

    A Journalist's Life: Session 4
    An exciting and engaging Journalist Camp for Middle School students! The goal is to empower young storytellers to explore the world of journalism through hands-on workshops in news writing, interviewing and multimedia reporting. Campers will sharpen their research and communication skills while collaborating with peers to produce real stories and gain insight from published journalists. This camp would be perfect for aspiring writers who might not feel strong enough to write a full story on their own. This camp will foster curiosity, critical thinking and a passion for uncovering the truth—all in a fun, supportive environment.

Broadway Kids Camp - July 21 to August 1, 2025

A two-week musical theater program for children entering grades 1-7. Mornings feature music, dance, improv, and acting classes, while afternoons are dedicated to rehearsing a full-scale production. Includes a t-shirt and script.

Broadway Bound! - July 21 to August 1, 2025

A program for students entering grades 8-12 interested in junior counselor roles. Mornings involve assisting younger campers, and afternoons are spent rehearsing for a Broadway revue showcase. Includes a t-shirt and script.
