Daisy Day is an annual celebration for the whole Bryn Mawr community held on the last Friday of every January. It’s a day to share our pride and gratitude, be of service to the school and inspire others.
Daisy Day was proclaimed by the City of Baltimore in 2019 when the school broke ground on the new Student Center to honor the philanthropic gifts and families that made that project possible. Read more here.
On Daisy Day 2020, the community joined forces to raise over $40,000. Students were involved in service projects in every division. Little School students packaged over 100 personal care kits in support of St. Vincent de Paul of Baltimore’s Beans and Bread program, Lower School collected over 10,000 diapers for fifth graders to deliver to ShareBaby, Middle School made gifts and cards for the residents of Keswick, and Upper School advisories lent a hand to our own dining and housekeeping staff members. All day long, students and faculty stopped by Daisy Day Headquarters in the Student Center to write notes of thanks to Bryn Mawr’s generous donors.
