Uniform Guidelines - LS
Lower School Uniforms
All students are required to wear a clean regulation uniform.
It is important that the required uniform combinations listed below be followed. Nail polish, jewelry (including smart watches) and makeup are not part of the Lower School uniform; however, girls with pierced ears may wear non-dangling earrings. All clothing and equipment should be clearly marked with the owner’s first and last name.

Uniform Regulations
- Plain white knit short-sleeve or long-sleeve polo shirt or plain white turtleneck
- Dark green skirt/jumper, or uniform gray pant
- Short all-white ankle socks that cover the ankle bone (no lace trim or tennis socks), gray knee-high socks, or gray tights or leggings
- All white or all gray low-cut athletic shoes; pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students are required to wear sneakers with Velcro fasteners
- Additional Notes
- Dark green Bryn Mawr mesh shorts should be worn under the jumper.
- Alternatively, gray tights or gray leggings may be worn under the jumper or skort when the weather turns cold. Gray or green Bryn Mawr sweatpants may be worn during cold winter months as well.
- A dark green or gray Bryn Mawr sweatshirt, or the gray Bryn Mawr fleece, may be worn with the uniform. These are the only sweatshirts/fleeces allowed in the classroom.
- A gray uniform cardigan sweater or gray sweater uniform vest may be worn, as well.
- Short white socks may not be worn over tights.
- We recommend the skort as a good option for girls on warm days.
