Maryland STEM Career Fair for Girls This Weekend

The Bryn Mawr School is hosting the Maryland STEM Career Fair for Girls Saturday, November 9 from 8:30 am to noon.

The Maryland STEM Career Fair for Girls gives middle and high school girls the opportunity to meet with women with a variety of careers in STEM fields.

The theme of the 10th annual STEM Career Fair is “Engineering Ideas Into Reality,” to encourage students to consider how their ideas can change the world.

Bryn Mawr alumna Jay Greene ’09 will be the keynote speaker to discuss her career in architecture and construction and her current project overseeing the construction of a new pool, ice rink and community center in Central Park in New York City.

Some of the companies sending representatives to the STEM Career Fair are Oregon Ridge Nature Center Council, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, Maryland Department of Health, Whiting-Turner Contracting Company and more.
