Gym Drill and Bazaar 2022 Updates

We look forward to celebrating the Bryn Mawr traditions of Bazaar and Gym Drill on Saturday, May 7, 2022. Please refer to this page for updated information and logistics due to the weather forecast. 

Gym Drill
Due to the rain and wind, Gym Drill will be held inside KVB Gymnasium. Please read below for details:
  • Due to limited space, audience is limited to families of seniors, 2 guests per student please.
  • Additional parent and alumnae spectators can watch the livestream in Centennial Hall and North Building Lobby (Livestream is brynmawrschool.org/live) 
  • Masks are encouraged when indoors
  • Staging areas for students:  
    • 1:15 p.m: ALL students in 6th-12th report to KVB 
    • 1:55 p.m: US and MS students to Dining Hall
    • 2:00 p.m: KVB open to the 12th grade families (2 per student)
    • 5th Grade: Please do NOT report for Gym Drill. We'll see you out there in 2023! (updated at 1pm) 
  • Middle and Upper School Students should refer to their Gym Drill Essentials document for further details
  • Parents dropping off and picking up are encouraged to use the Lower School driveway to pick up students following the event (approximately 4 pm)

    Maypole
    • Maypole has been moved to KVB Gymnasium beginning at 9 a.m. 
    • Third grade students should arrive at the Multipurpose Room in the Lower School by 8:30 a.m
    Bazaar
    Bazaar will open at 9 a.m. with some weather modifications listed below. If you are scheduled to volunteer, you are still on duty! (Thank you!)
    • Recycled Uniform Sale will be held in Gatehouse at 9 a.m.
    • Inflatable rides for all ages will be open in the Old Gym, next to the Little School 
    • Vendors and raffle baskets will be under the portico around the Carey Quad
    • Games will be under a tent outside of Hardy Building
    • Stop by for karaoke in front of the Dance Studio
    • Food trucks will be stationed around Northern Parkway Circle and the Hoene Dining Hall will be open with food selections and seating
    • All other stations (face painting, snacks, tickets, etc) will be in Centennial Hall Lobby
    • Ponies TBD!
