Even with winter break and the snow delays, it was a busy month in classrooms all over campus! From learning about implicit and explicit bias in the fifth grade; pitching ideas to an alumnae panel in Shark Tank-style presentations for entrepreneurship; learning how to analyze those same projects in AP Econ from an alumna in the field; or building dollhouses with working lights in Lower School science, students are getting an impressive start to the year. In the Upper School, five freshman students won the English department’s writing contest and earned the iconic rubber ducky trophy, while the robotics teams spent the month preparing for their own competition, where two teams qualified for states! Special thanks to all the wonderful alumnae who came back to class this month!
