When the days get shorter, and the leaves have mostly fallen, my life is taken over by ice hockey. And not me alone: our 23 (this year) skaters, several coaches and volunteers all pull into the Mt. Pleasant Arena parking lot around 5:30 a.m. from early November through early February to hit the ice and learn to play this crazy game. Read more...

Congratulations to Upper School English teacher Abdul Ali, whose poem, "Let There Be," recently received a great write-up in the "Kenyon Review," a prominent literary journal. "Let There Be" is included in Ali's recently released book of poetry, "Trouble Sleeping," published in March 2015. Read more...
