Fall Spirit Day 2017

Even with questionable weather, Fall Spirit Day 2017 was awesome! Mawrtian Spirit was loud and proud all over campus. Special thanks to the ever-wonderful Morgan State University Drum Corps for leading our parade, and for their amazing performance to kick off the pep rally!

Little School Fire Safety Day

Little School students loved having a visit this month from the Roland Park Fire Department! Students got to meet firemen and get an up-close look at their truck and equipment – including the impressively-tall ladder on the truck. At the end of the day, each child got a coloring book with important fire safety tips to take home.

Kindergarten Butterflies

Each year in the fall, the kindergartners learn about monarch caterpillars and how they become butterflies. They also learn about how these amazing insects migrate to Mexico to survive the winter, and then have the opportunity to hatch one (or more) of their own butterflies to release in Bryn Mawr's butterfly garden! Special thanks to alumna and board chair Hadley Hubbard Feiss '82, who works as a nature educator, for bringing in a caterpillar this year and spending some time with our very excited students!

ECo HarvestFest

Each fall, Upper School organization Environmental Coalition (ECo) hosts the HarvestFest, a farmer's market/festival that raises money for charity. Special thanks to this year's outside vendors – Stoecker Farm, Hex Ferments, B'more Organic, The Book Thing, Dan Candle, Helen's Garden, Bami Products and Bakeovers – as well as to all of our student clubs for their participation!

Little School Fall Festival

The Little School Fall Festival is always a highlight of the season for students and parents alike. On Halloween this year, children enjoyed wagon rides, face painting, crafts, hay bale jumping and more! Special thanks to all of the parent volunteers who make this fun event possible!

Halloween at Bryn Mawr

Without fail, Halloween brings a wealth of fun, creative and colorful characters to Bryn Mawr. From the Lower School's parade to the Middle and Upper School costume contests, it is truly a special day on campus!

Upper School Musical: "Pippin"

This month, the Upper School staged a stunning production of the musical "Pippin," which tells the tells the story of a young prince who longs to find passion and adventure in his life. The ensemble cast from Bryn Mawr and Gilman did an incredible job with the challenging, dance-driven production. Congratulations to all of the cast and crew!
